1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Steady Signals mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy, Health Data Consent, and Not Medical Care Acknowledgement.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. The initial Service is intended for adults in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
2. Supportive tools, not medical care
Steady Signals provides self-guided check-ins, breathwork, educational material, trend displays, AI-assisted reflections, and other recovery-support tools. The Service does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. It is not medical advice, psychotherapy, emergency care, or a substitute for care from a qualified clinician.
Do not use the Service to decide whether to seek care. Seek prompt medical attention for new, severe, sudden, changing, or concerning symptoms. If you believe you may be experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your device and account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@getsteadysignals.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
One person may not impersonate another, access another user’s data, probe or bypass security controls, reverse engineer the Service except where law permits it, interfere with operation of the Service, or use automated means to scrape or abuse it.
4. Sensitive information and your choices
The Service may process health-adjacent information you choose to enter, including check-ins, notes, breathwork activity, reflections, recovery context, and use of support tools. Our handling of this information is described in the Privacy Policy and Health Data Consent.
You control whether optional AI-assisted weekly reflections and optional marketing communications are enabled. Required account, privacy, health-data, and not-medical-care acknowledgements are necessary to use the health-tracking portions of the Service.
5. AI-assisted reflections
AI-assisted reflections summarize patterns in information you provide. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected. They are not diagnoses, predictions, clinical conclusions, or instructions. Do not rely on an AI reflection for medical, safety, treatment, medication, or emergency decisions.
6. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Dizzy Right Now is intended to remain available without a paid subscription. Other features may require an active free trial or paid subscription.
Subscription purchases made through Apple or Google are billed and managed by the applicable app store. Prices, renewal timing, cancellation, refunds, and taxes are governed by the terms shown at purchase and the applicable store rules. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Deleting the app or your Steady Signals account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription; use the store’s subscription settings to cancel.
We may change features or prices prospectively. Any material pricing change will be communicated as required by law and app-store policy.
7. Content and intellectual property
Macrosifter LLC and its licensors own the Service, branding, software, original educational content, and related intellectual property. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended personal purpose.
You retain rights in notes and other content you submit. You grant us only the rights needed to host, secure, process, synchronize, summarize, export, and otherwise operate the Service according to your settings and the Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services and links
The Service may link to clinicians, vestibular rehabilitation resources, community pages, app stores, and other third-party services. We do not control or endorse every third-party statement, service, privacy practice, or availability. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
9. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address a violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request permanent account deletion through the app. Certain minimal records may be retained where required for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, security, or compliance purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, a particular recovery outcome, that a trend or AI reflection will be accurate, or that the Service will meet every user’s needs. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Macrosifter LLC and its officers, members, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill arising from the Service.
Our total liability for claims arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) USD $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
12. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Macrosifter LLC from third-party claims arising from your unlawful misuse of the Service or material violation of these Terms. This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable consumer law.
13. United States dispute resolution
This section applies only to users in the United States.
Before filing a claim, you and Macrosifter LLC agree to send a written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution and to attempt informal resolution for 30 days. Notices to us must be sent to legal@getsteadysignals.com and the address below.
Except for eligible small-claims matters, requests for public injunctive relief where applicable, or claims that cannot legally be arbitrated, disputes will be resolved by individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under the Federal Arbitration Act and the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures, as modified by these Terms. Arbitration will take place remotely unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
No class actions. To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
30-day opt out. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing legal@getsteadysignals.com within 30 days after first accepting these Terms. Include your account email and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration.
14. Governing law and regional rights
Delaware law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration section. This choice does not remove mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply where you live. Users outside the United States may bring claims before courts or regulators where applicable law gives them that right.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will provide notice of material changes as required by law and request renewed agreement when appropriate. The version and last-updated date appear at the top.
